Florence is the ideal setting to spend the summer studying in one of the most historic, cultural and beautiful cities in the world. The city is filled with cobblestone streets, open-air markets, unique food experiences, artistic masterpieces, stunning architecture. This program is designed for students of all majors interested in: Italian language, culture, studio arts, art history, psychology, and more.  You will take 2 courses (6 or 7 credits - depending on the courses that you select) on this 6-week long program.  No previous Italian language experience is necessary. 

Welcome to the Global Business Institute (GBI), your opportunity to study and practice business at one of five international campuses. GBI prepares you for the business world through coursework that advances your degree, out-of-the-classroom experiences that create cultural competence that make recruiters want to hire you.
 

This 3-credit study away course exposes students to an American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) culture and health care delivery system. Emphasis is placed on exploring health issues and risk factors, the impact of cultural characteristics on health disparity, health outcomes, and health care delivery and utilization, and the achievement of health-related goals. Students will be required to complete class sessions online prior to and following the program.

This program offers students the opportunity to learn Czech abroad in the beautiful city of Prague as a part of Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute. Students study intensive Czech for 4 weeks at Charles University and participate in an excursion program to a variety of points of interest in and around the magnificent city of Prague. This program is open to students of Czech at the intermediate, advanced, and 4th-year levels.

This program offers students the opportunity to learn Czech abroad in the beautiful city of Prague as a part of Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute. This unique program offers students the opportunity to learn Czech at Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute in Pittsburgh and abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. After 6 weeks of language and culture study at Pitt’s Oakland campus, students depart for a 4-week abroad program in Prague at Charles University. In Prague, students will continue their intensive language classes and engage in an excursion program to a variety of points of interest in and around the magnificent city of Prague.
