Structure
Students will be permitted to join our partner, CAPA: The Global Education Network, in a remote learning format. CAPA: The Global Education Network, is Pitt’s partner for its anchor study abroad programs, Pitt in London, Pitt in Florence, Pitt in Sydney and Pitt in Argentina. Due to the pandemic, Pitt and CAPA have worked together to develop a remote learning option including remote internships so that Pitt students can continue to avail themselves of our high-quality academic options overseas. Courses will be delivered with synchronous and asynchronous components from their own homes. CAPA: The Global Education Network has a well-developed system of global learning, and has converted its curriculum so that University of Pittsburgh students have access to the courses offered on the study abroad programs, Pitt in London, Pitt in Sydney, and Pitt in Florence, respectively.

Credit Transfer & Course Registration
As these are existing University of Pittsburgh courses, credit will transfer to your University of Pittsburgh transcript with letter grades. Advisors in our office will assist you with your course selection and registration process. Our advisors are well-versed in general education requirements. They are also well-connected to major, minor, and certificate advisors for verification and approval for specific degree requirements.
Continued Connection to Pitt
We value you, and we want you to continue to feel like you are a part of our community. Throughout the term, you will receive care packages, direct connection via teleconference with advisors and individuals at the University, and connection to our local alumni where possible. You will have an advisor in our office assigned to you for the entirety of the term for questions and assistance.
Housing
Housing is not provided as part of the Remote Learning Abroad option.
