Having lived and worked in Moscow for over fifteen years as an editor and financial translator for Interfax, one of Russia's leading news agencies, Robert returned to the U.S. to pursue a doctorate degree in Slavic Languages and Cultures at The Ohio State University. Robert has worked at the College of William & Mary and The Ohio State University, where he has taught various levels of Russian language, as well as courses in film, culture, folklore, media, and spy fiction. He has a longstanding experience in the field of short-term immersion programs and has been with SLI since 2013.
