Ben Gordon

Ben Gordon is an assistant professor in Religious Studies and the Rosenberg-Perlow fellow in Jewish Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. After college he lived in Jerusalem for eight years, where he trained as an archaeologist at the Hebrew University before returning to America and completing a Ph.D. in Religion at Duke University. His research focuses on the material culture and religion of Judea-Palestine in classical antiquity. He has led several student groups through Israel and is passionate about the place and its people.
