BUSSPP

This course is designed to allow participants to learn and apply concepts, vocabulary, tools, techinques, and experiences germane to domestic and international business. A special focus on the inpact of cultural, legal, and market forces on U.S. and Irish businesses will provide a more nuanced understanding of global business issues. 

Field component of Managing in Complex Environments, including site visits in Pittsburgh and Dublin.

This program provides students with the opportunity to apply concepts and tools acquired in BUSSPP 0020 to the study of firms in a non-U.S. environment. Students work in teams with engineering students on research projects. Business environment and practices abroad are compared to those in the U.S. The program abroad includes company visits, lectures, and cultural excursions during a two-week study period in Korea under the guidance of a faculty member.
 

This program provides students with the opportunity to apply concepts and tools acquired in BUSSPP 0020 abroad. Students work in teams on research projects, and business environment and practices abroad are compared to those in the U.S. The program abroad includes visits, lectures, and cultural excursions during a two-week study period in Ecuador under the guidance of a faculty member.

These courses can be fulfilled through Pitt-Recognized or Exchanges.
