Program and Courses

The University of Pittsburgh's School of Engineering and College of Business Administration have combined to offer you a unique study abroad opportunity: Plus3. For the past several years this program has met with tremendous success. The program was awarded the Andrew Heiskell Award for Innovation in International Education by the Institute for International Education.

Plus3 is a three-credit, two-week optional add-on to CBA's required Managing Complex Environments (MCE) course and Engineering's ENG 12 course. The program is an international research project held immediately after the end of spring term. The program is targeted to students between their freshman and sophomore years.

All engineering students who obtain a 3.0 GPA or better by the end of their first semester will be eligible to recieve a $500 scholarship to be used on a Plus3 Program (pending acceptance and no disciplinary issues).

All CBA students who obtain a 3.25 GPA or better by the end of their first semester will be eligible to recieve a $500 scholarship to be used on a Plus3 Program (pending acceptance and no disciplinary issues.)
