Plus 3 Program for Business and Engineering Students
Plus3 is a three-credit, two-week optional add-on to CBA's required Managing Complex Environments (MCE) course and Engineering's ENG 12 course. The program is an international research project held immediately after the end of spring term. The program is targeted to students between their freshman and sophomore years.

This program focuses on student training in engineering infrastructure and sustainability. Training students to become leaders in areas such as, information technology, roadway and aerospace materials development, and public transportation design, is the focus of this program.

The program is held in Concepción, Chile during the summer session. Concepción’s economic structure is centered mainly in the industrial, forestry, agricultural, fishing, business, and service areas. The program includes a combined language/culture course and engineering/business course; both Chilean and U.S. students will participate in the courses.

This program features a direct exchange with ITESM in the industrial capital of Mexico -- for every Pitt student that goes to Tec, a Tec student will come to Pitt. It is an excellent option for Engineering and Business majors, and also offers a summer intensive Spanish program.

Pitt Exchange with the University of Montevideo
This is a program in Montevideo, Uruguay designed for business and engineering students, especially juniors and seniors. Students will study the fundamentals of international supply chain methods with a focus on Latin America and Uruguay. There is a field study component that will allow students to visit companies in Uruguay and see the sights.
